Fiji to launch first women's expo

Update: 3:02PM THE Fijis biggest womens event, the National Womens Expo, will begin in Suva next week.

It will witness the participation of 1701 women from 499 womens groups who have already started arriving into the capital city to prepare for the 3-day national event. 

The expo is themed Celebrating Fijian Womens Talent.

It will be held from Wednesday August 6 to Friday August 8 at the Vodafone Arena.

The event will be officially opened by the Prime Minister Rear Admiral (Ret) Voreqe Bainimarama on Wednesday morning.
