Launch of women's soccer

THE Fiji Football Association Rooster Women's League will be launched in Ba today.

The launch will coincide with the presentation of Adidas equipment to the various district women's associations.

The equipment is provided by world governing body FIFA as part of its program to support the development of women's football in the nation in partnership with Adidas.

The equipment provided will cater for 12 district teams which accommodate 22 players per team.

The launch will be held at the National Football Academy in Ba starting at 10am.
