Gym launches fitness challenge

Update: 3:24PM A womens gym in Nadi has relaunched a 12-week fitness challenge for enthusiasts, saying that while a lot has been done to promote health and well being, nothing is being done to achieve it.

"In my experience the closest thing to fitness in people's mind is walking, and with that most people assume every other form of exercise could be bad for them," said Kunjal Nair, director of the Womens Crib in Nadi Town.

"This program gives people the chance to take advantage of the program, and give them hope that it's not because they are born obese, or are genetically like that, but there could be something done about it."

The program has also been extended to Suva.
