Sims looking to end Cowboys career on a high

AUSTRALIA NETWORK
Wednesday, July 30, 2014

Update: 2:20PM North Queensland forward Ashton Sims says he is determined to finish his career at the Cowboys on a positive note after announcing he is heading to Warrington.

The 29-year-old will leave the club at season's end to join the Warrington Wolves in the Super League.

Sims has been relegated to the bench for Saturday night's clash with the Titans, to make way for returning prop Matt Scott.

Sims said he had enjoyed his time in North Queensland.

"The people I've met up here not just through rugby league, just in the community, I've met some really good friends I'll have forever," Sims said.

"So I want to finish off for people like them, because they are all massive Cowboys fans, so yeah that's definitely a motivation too."
