Supply disruption

Upgrade work carried out by the Water Authority of Fiji in the West this week can lead to a disruption in water supply.

In a statement, WAF said customers should start storing water in advance for their needs.

It said the possible disruption was attributed to planned upgrade works to be carried out at the Sabeto junction in Nadi from 9am today to 5am tomorrow. The areas expected to be affected are Vuda, Lomolomo, Viseisei, Lauwaki, Wairabetia, Velovelo, Natabua, Saru, Saru Back Rd, Tavakubu, Kashmir, Field 40, Balawa, Topline, Banaras, Natokowaqa, Simla, Tavakubu Rd, Waiyavi Stage 1, Lautoka City, Namoli Village, Sukanaivalu Rd, Jinnu, Drasa Vitogo and Rifle Range.
