Store water, West residents told

Update: 4:00PM THE Water Authority of Fiji has advised people living in some parts of the Western Division to start storing water as planned upgrade work will result in possible water supply disruption this weekend.

WAF says upgrade work will be carried out at the Sabeto Junction in Nadi and is expected to last about 20 hours.

Areas affected are: Vuda, Lomolomo, Viseisei, Lauwaki, Wairabetia, Velovelo, Natabua,  Saru, Saru Back Rd, Tavakubu, Kashmir, Field 40, Balawa, Topline, Banaras, Natokowaqa, Simla, Tavakubu Rd, Waiyavi Stage 1, Lautoka City, Namoli Village, Sukanaivalu Road, Jinnu, Drasa Vitogo and Rifle Range.

Water would be carted to affected areas until supply is restored, WAF said.
