School managers discuss management challenges

Update: 1:00PM MORE than 100 managers from around the country are attending the School Management Association of Fiji Annual General Meeting in Suva today.

Association president Govind Singh says the Fijian education system has been subjected to a major transformation whereby school managers are experiencing unprecedented challenges in the management of schools.

Mr Singh says new initiatives in the form of policies, reforms and demands have created new challenges and opportunities for managers.

He says its important that quality education is always provided to children in the country.
