DISMAC hold training on disaster management

Update: 1:32PM SOME government officials and stakeholders up North are attending a three-day DISMAC training in Labasa.

The training, held at the Commissioner Northern's conference room, is a joint effort of the Provincial Development Ministry, New Zealand Rotary Club and the DISMAC office.

It is solely focused on educating the participants about disaster management.

DISMAC's Anthony Blake said the participants would put into practice what they learnt during an exercise on Friday.
