Men turn out for prostate cancer tests

Update: 12:15PM ABOUT 50 men above the age of 40 have so far been screened at the Labasa Hospital for prostate cancer this morning.

The bilateral initiative by the Suva Golden Oldies Rugby Club and the Ministry of Health also aims to create awareness about the cancer.

Urology registrar Dr Rajeev Patel said the initiative was also conducted in Suva with more than 100 men taking advantage of the service.

He said the screening was well-received by the men.
