THE Fiji Car Club is happy with the success of its car show which was held on Sunday in Suva.

Forty-five cars took part and club president Raizal Haniff said they were impressed with the turnout in the day-long event.

"It was a very successful event. Close to 500 spectators attended and 45 cars took part," he said.

"It's very encouraging for Fiji Car Club to see large amount of spectators turning up for the first car show of the year.

"We will be holding one more event before end of year. We would like to thank Cheaper Rentals and LB Masters for the sponsorship."
