Update: 11:09AM SOLOMON Airlines has clarified there is still a direct link between Nadi and Honiara despite the suspension of flights between the two destinations.

In a statement, Solomon Airlines Operations and Commercial general manager Gus Kraus said in keeping with its resolve to assist passengers affected by the situation, the airlines Friday and Sunday services from Honiara to Nadi, returning Saturday and Monday, were still in place via code share flights operated in conjunction with Air Niugini.

"Solomon Airlines has done its utmost to assist those of its passengers affected by this stalemate and in fact across the last two weeks we have continued to offer Fiji-bound passengers with connections via Vila," Mr Klaus said.
