Accident lands two in hospital

Update: 3:22PM FOLLOWING an accident yesterday afternoon at the Nadawa junction where a truck hit a man crossing the main road, the truck driver has also been admitted to hospital.

This was confirmed this morning by Fiji Police Force spokesperson Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri, who said the driver as well as the pedestrian are now admitted at the CWM Hospital in Suva.

The driver had received bad chest pains after the incident happened, so he is also at the hospital at the moment, Insp Sokomuri said.
