Situation: A weak trough of low pressure is developing over the eastern part of the group.

Meanwhile, another trough is approaching the group from the southwest.

Forecast to midnight tonight for the Fiji group: Cloudy periods wirh some showers over Lau and Lomaiviti group, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands.

Fine apart from brief showers elsewhere. Moderate northerly winds.

Winds turning southerly from the west later today. Moderate seas.

Outlook for MONDAY : Some showers over Kadavu, Lau and Lomaiviti group, interior and the southern parts of the larger islands.

Showers in the afternoon or evening elsewhere.

For Navua / Suva / Nausori : Fine apart from brief showers.

Outlook for MONDAY : Some showers.

For Nadi / Lautoka / Ba : Fine.

Outlook for MONDAY : Fine apart from possible afternoon or evening showers.

For Labasa : Cloudy periods with some showers.
