Sharma stars

BA golfer Sunil Sharma was in top form winning the Ba Golf Club-sponsored tournament early in the week.

Sharma survived a tough battle from fellow golfer Ravin Padarath and Ashwin Sharma to record a score of 66 net.

Padarath claimed the second spot with 67 on count back from Ashwin Sharma who finished on third spot.

Sunil Sharma recorded NTP while Padarath hit the longest drive.

Meanwhile, golfers are looking forward to another exciting competition this weekend.

Club official Rajesh Prasad said the competition would be a good testing ground for Sharma to confirm his status in Ba golf.

"We expect tough competition from the participants and it will be exciting as all golfers are looking forward to deny Sharma the victory.

"The surface is in tip top condition and we anticipate to record good scores."

The entry fee is $10 and tee off is at 1pm.
