School probe

Serafina Silaitoga
Thursday, July 17, 2014

DIVISIONAL education officer northern Satya Shandil has clarified that an investigation carried out this week at a school was not only about the alleged glue sniffing report.

Mr Shandil, referring to the case of the 23 boarders who ran away from school after being told off by their principal, said the investigation was to help them find out the facts of the case.

"It is not only about glue sniffing because at this stage, we have yet to determine whether it is glue sniffing," he said.

"At this stage, it is not clear what the girls did and that is why our team looked at other issues to help them determine the actual event."
