Police record five theft complaints

Update: 6:26PM A LAPTOP and an official government mobile phone are among the list of stolen item reports received by police on Tuesday.

Police spokesman Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said five thefts were reported in the Central Division while one in the Southern.

Mr Sokomuri said an unknown person allegedly stole a HP laptop worth $4000 from the Vice Principal's office at Dudley High School in Toorak while the teacher was in class.

He said in a separate incident an unknown person stole a black Alcatel mobile phone valued at $500 from a taxi hired from USP to New Peking Restaurant in Suva.separate
