School launches waste management initiative

Update: 12:46PM ST Marcellin Primary School in Vatuwaqa is the second school in Fiji to launch the waste management initiative this morning.

Supported by the Fiji Environmental Association, Coca Cola Fiji Amatil and the Suva City Council, the initiative is to promote recycling and waste management among students and teachers.

Nehru Primary School in Suva was the first school to implement the three Rs system (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
