Fiji airline halt Honiara bookings

By GERALDINE PANAPASA
Tuesday, July 15, 2014

Update: 10:51AM FIJI'S national airline has stopped bookings for Honiara flights following a ban imposed on the airline by the Solomon Islands government.

In a statement this morning, the airline said this would remain until the suspension on the service to Honiara was lifted.

A statement from the Ministry of Information this week said the dispute began after the Solomon Islands government breached the Air Services Agreement between Fiji and Solomon Is that allowed for air travel between the two nations.
