Watson tops list

TERRY Watson is the top seed for the two person aggregate stableford event that will be played at the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club in Nadi today.

Watson was in fine nick in the two previous tournaments at the club.

He won the Starwood-sponsored stroke event last Saturday.

Watson shot 64 nett and finished four strokes ahead of Krishna Singh. Russell Moloney was third with 70 nett.

Watson also won a nearest to the pin prize. Richard Kwon won the other nearest to the pin prize.

Tracey Duncan won the ladies section with a score of 78 nett. Jennie Osborne was the runner-up with 79 nett after a countback.

On Tuesday Watson claimed the 18 holes stableford event. He scored 36 points.

Edwina Petersen claimed the runner-up prize after edging Aliti Wigmans on a countback.

Both golfers scored 34 nett. Francis Tan took out the nearest to the two pin prizes.
