THIRTEEN Queen contestants have been undergoing tough training sessions in preparation for the upcoming Digicel Bula Festival.

Bula Festival Association president Mohammed Hafiz said the training for the contestants started two weeks ago.

"We started off very slowly but training has intensified this week," Mr Hafiz said.

"We are very proud of the work the girls have done and hopefully by the end of next week, we will make the final adjustments to the list of contestants."

The contestants will be given time should they want to leave the festival because of some unforeseen circumstances.

He said the contestants would train until July 24.

The Digicel Bula Festival will be held from August 2 to 9.
