Council officials learn about tobacco control laws

Update: 4:41PM OFFICIALS of the Labasa Town Council this morning had the opportunity to learn about Tobacco Control Legislation and the smoke-free initiatives.

The Ministry of Healths Tobaccbo Control Unit Aminiasi Tavui told the officials that it was only proper they understood the legislation before implementing it to the people concerned.

He said they would be empowering some enforcement officers to look after the non-smoking zones in town.
