More health posts soon

Update: 6:48PM FOLLOWING endorsement by cabinet, the Health Ministry will soon have some 553 health posts around the country to maximise efficiency and effectiveness of the ministry.

The new posts will be situated in all four divisions and will include services in dental care, radiology, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy among others.

At present, there are a total of 415 doctors and 800 nurses in Fijis health sector.
