20 students prepare for art competition

Update: 1:37PM ABOUT 20 students from 10 schools have been selected for the inaugural Fiji Airways Art Competition to be held during the Film Fiji Kula Awards this year.

Fiji Airways communications manager Shane Hussein said the students would have a chance to win $1000 for themselves and $1500 for their schools.

"The finalists gathered for a one-day workshop with artist Rebecca Lloyd, who is preparing them for the art competition," he said.

"The students now have until July 21 to submit one art piece on the theme My Fiji."
