PM launches floating health clinic

Update: 3:16PM THE Sea Mercy Floating Health Clinic was launched this morning by the Prime Minister Prime Minister Rear Admiral (Ret) Voreqe Bainimarama in Suva.

The floating clinics will primarily service the eight islands in the Lau Group as well as other maritime islands when the need arises.

The $83,000 project was a joint initiative by the people of Vanuabalavu, private sector and the government.

The vessels will begin their service on Saturday.
