U20 players in top form

Arin Kumar
Wednesday, July 02, 2014

NATIONAL U20 soccer coach Ravinesh Kumar praised the performance of his players who competed in the Vodafone Fiji FACT tournament.

Nadi successfully retained the title with a 1-0 win over Suva at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.

Kumar said the performance of his players was an indication they were going to become better ahead of the FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand next year.

"A very good performance by all the teams in the tournament," he said.

"Big thanks to those teams that used the Fiji U20 players in their teams and looking at the final, one featured for Nadi while three were in Suva."
