Land lease clarified

THE iTaukei Lands Trust Board has clarified that a piece of land on Navo Island in Sanasana, Nadroga, was legally leased to Natadola Bay Resort Limited.

TLTB general manager Alipate Qetaki met with members of tokatoka o Koroiosuna in Nadi on Friday to explain the circumstances of the leased land.

"We had a very frank and cordial meeting regarding the consent given by the tokatoka o Koroiosuna," he said.

"We will have another meeting in July and following that we will have another meeting in Sanasana Village so we can talk to all the members of the tokatoka."
