CURITIBA, Brazil - The Spanish inquisition has begun.

So many questions about why Spain's cup runneth, over.

Is it disunity in the ranks? Lack of motivation? Overrated youngsters? Poor tactics? Or just plain bad luck?

"There are many reasons. It is not one simple explanation," del Bosque told reporters yesterday in Curitiba, where Spain play Australia today.

"There is the physical side. The tactical side. The technical side — different explanations."
