Roy's body arrives home

Arin Kumar
Monday, June 23, 2014

THE body of late Fijian athlete Roy Ravana Jr returns home today.

His parents and younger brother left Fiji last week to bring Ravana's body from the US for burial.

The former Marist Brothers High School student, who was on a scholarship in California, was killed during a drive-by shooting last week.

A memorial service was held in Sacramento last Friday where members of the Fijian community in California, members of the Marist Old Boys USA branch and Ravana's friends gathered to farewell the fallen star.

The final funeral service will be held at the school hall in Flagstaff.
