Hussein reigns in Nadi golf

NATIONAL elite squad member Abid Hussain took out the KK's Hardware-sponsored monthly medal event at the Nadi Airport Golf Club course on Saturday.

Hussain carded a brilliant four under par 66 to win the overall gross title.

Defending Nadi Open champion Barroon Hussain won the overall nett with a score of 64.

Zoheer Ahmed won the A Grade nett with a score of 65. Club president Munesh Prasad was second with 67 nett. He also hit the longest drive.

Nilesh Chand was third with 71 nett.

Suresh Prasad won the B Grade nett with a score of 66. Arun Charan was second after a countback from Ananda Madhwan after both golfers scored 72 nett.
