Maciu Malo
Saturday, June 21, 2014

THE stage is set to determine the best golfer in the DHL Global Forwarding-sponsored 18-hole stroke monthly medal event at the Lautoka Golf Link course this afternoon.

Former Lautoka Open champion Prem Chand, Summer Cup round four champion Abdul Jalal, Danny's Limited-sponsored tournament champion Surend Pillay and last week's winner Charlie Bhaskaran are some of the title top contenders bracing for this event.

Dark horse and veteran golfer Gaffar Ali is also aiming to restore his name as the best in the business.

He said the competition would be a battle between the past and present champions.
