CONTESTANTS of the Duavata Northern Crime Prevention Carnival enjoyed their official tour to the Vaturekuka correction facility and the Labasa Police Station yesterday.

Carnival chairman Satish Kumar said the tour was an eye-opener for the contestants.

Mr Kumar said the contestants would be involved in more educational tours around Labasa Town as the week-long carnival progressed over the next few days.

Miss Bua Alumeci Sevakasiga described the trip to the Vaturekuka Correction Centre as an emotional one.
