Fiji TV granted license extension

Update: 4:20PM FIJI Television Limited's television broadcast licence has been extended by the Minister for Communications Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum for six months.

The market announcement on the South Pacific Stock Exchange this afternoon would come into effect from June 30 this year.

The extension would be until further notice of any additional terms and conditions, including spectrum allocation that may be prescribed.

It said Fiji TV would continue to broadcast under the terms and conditions contained in the existing licence for the extended period.
