Pacific State officials arrive for PIDF Summit

Update: 2:34PM HIGH level State officials from 12 Pacific Island Countries have started to gather on Denarau Island in Nadi for the Second Summit of the Pacific Islands Development Forum.

A traditional ceremony will be held at the Denarau Golf and Racquet Club this afternoon for dignitaries - including President of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

President Yudhoyono was welcomed last night by Prime Minister Rear Admiral (Ret) Voreqe Bainimarama and a 100 men guard of honor by the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) and the Fiji Naval Forces upon his arrival.
