Labasa bus stand is hazardous: FRA

Update: 12:34PM FIJI Road Authority CEO Neil Cook says the Labasa bus stand needs to be extended.

Speaking during a recent interview in the North, Mr Cook said the bus stands current condition was hazardous.

There is a need for wardens and road marshals at the stand to monitor pedestrians and bus movement at the stand, he said.

The recent incident at the Suva bus stand should have been an eye-opener to all of us.
