Election Office launch voter awareness

Update: 4:10PM THE Fijian Elections Office officially launched its national voter awareness campaign for the 2014 general election today.

Launching the campaign at Suva's Civic Centre, Electoral Commission chairman Chen Bunn Young said the voter education campaign is a constitutional obligation for the commission.

Mr Young said voter education is as important as the act of voting.

The awareness campaign will be held nationwide.
