Beauties take relaxing cruise

IT WAS a day of well-deserved rest and relaxation for finalists of the Miss World Fiji title on Saturday, when they visited Tivua Island in the Mamanuca Group, on board Captain Cook Cruises.

Part of the reason the young women were on the cruise, according to Miss World Fiji director Andhy Blake, was to promote tourism.

"Part of our efforts is to encourage the Miss World competition into Fiji in 2017 and to achieve this will require total commitment towards this goal," Mr Blake said in a statement issued yesterday.

The Miss World Fiji crowning will be on July 26 at the Pearl South Pacific Resort in Pacific Harbour.
