SITTING under the hot sun or having to deal with wet conditions will be a thing of the past for vendors following the opening of the new $250,000 Vaileka Market extension in Rakiraki.

Attorney-General and acting Minister for Local Government Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said the new facility marked another positive development for the three-year-old town.
