36 receive certificates, bronze medals

Update: 2:37PM THIRTY six recipients of the Duke of Edinburgh International Awards program received their certificates and bronze medals in Labasa, Vanua Levu this morning.

Presenting the awards, Youth and Sports Minister Commander Viliame Naupoto told the recipients from the four high schools that that program was designed to help them discover their potential and talents.

Prior to this, he visited the Naleba Training Centre before meeting his staff.

Mr Naupoto travels back to Suva this afternoon.
