Musicians help out

MUSICIANS have always inspired people with their music.

But the All Back Home musicians got a chance to inspire people in a different way by giving $5391.06 to the St Giles Hospital in Suva yesterday.

The musicians from abroad and Fiji got a chance to not only hand over the funds to the hospital but also tour the facility, giving them a glimpse of how their charity would support patients at the hospital.

Sydney Fiji Musicians Association president Lawrence Foon said their focus was always on assisting the hospital and helping it develop in any way possible.

"We are not only focused on charity as we also tried to give young musicians a chance to develop their talent," Foon said.

Sponsor Ken Janson said the next All Back Home reconnection music event would be held next year in June.
