YOUNGSTER Iosefo Verevou will miss the Vodafone Fiji FACT next weekend with the group stage competition at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori.

The 18-year-old, who has been named in the 30-member Rewa squad for the tournament, is suspended indefinitely from all levels of football.

Verevou was dropped from the Vodafone Fiji under-20 side after he was found guilty of breaking the team camp in the lead-up to the Oceania Football Confederation U20 Championship.

Fiji Football Association competitions manager Amitesh Pal said Verevou's case would be heard on June 28 by the association's disciplinary committee.

The 2014 Fiji FACT semi-finals will be held on June 28 while the final will be played the following day. The tournament will start next week Friday with defending champions Nadi taking on Navua in the opening match.

This will be followed by Ba versus Nadroga, Suva will be up against Lautoka and Rewa will take on Labasa in the feature match of day one. Pal said the ticket would go on sale this Saturday at the Nausori Town Council and from Monday at the Fiji FA office in Vatuwaqa.

"The Pavilion A in the centre is going for $15 adult and $7 child while on the sides $10 adult and $5 child. The Pavilion B is $8 adult and $3 child," he said.

"We have a strong fan base in the Southern Division so we are expecting a good turnout."

The total sponsorship for the tournament is $75,000. The winner will get $15,000 while the runner-up will receive $4000.

Rewa, Labasa, Nadroga and Ba are in Group A while Group B has Nadi, Navua, Suva and Lautoka.
