Milk powder prices drop

By GERALDINE PANAPASA
Wednesday, June 11, 2014

Update: 11:00AM A DECLINE in imported prices has resulted in the reduction of prices for 450grams Rewa Full Cream milk powder by 4.81 per cent.

Fiji Commerce Commission chairman Mahendra Reddy said the reduction followed a submission from Fiji Dairy Limited and attributed this to a decline in imported prices.

The milk powder costs $6.90 in urban centres and $6.97 in rural areas on Viti Levu while on Vanua Levu it costs $7.02 for urban centres and $7.09 for rural areas.

The new prices are effective from today.
