NFA investigates restaurant fire

Update: 2:32PM THE National Fire Authority managed to contain a restaurant fire at Nabua in Suva this morning.

The fire is believed to have started from the kitchen.

Eyewitnesses and nearby residents said they saw the flames coming out from the restaurant and alerted the NFA.

NFA media officer Ritesh Kumar who was at the scene said the fire fighters prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent buildings.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
