By GERALDINE PANAPASA
Saturday, June 07, 2014

Update: 10:00AM THE Fiji Airways Group officially launched the rebranded Pacific Sun as Fiji Link last night at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva.

Speaking at the event, Fiji Airways CEO Stefan Pichler said they were determined that it was the right time to rebrand and relaunch Pacific Sun when they decided to invest in their regional airline.

He said Pacific Sun served its purpose from 2007 when it started commercial flights.

"After an extensive internal design process, followed by testing potential names with our staff and the public, Fiji Link as a brand name emerged a clear favourite."
