Army chief attends passing-out parade

Friday, June 06, 2014

Update: 4:40PM FAMILY members and friends gathered at the Force Training Group in Nasinu today to witness the passing-out parade of their loved ones.

Republic of Fiji Military Force Brigadier-General Mosese Tikoitoga reminded the new recruits that  greatness in the RFMF is neither measured in their years of service, nor the ranks they attain, but will be measured by the sacrifice one is willing to make for the good of the nation.

"As the latest members of the RFMF, it is your duty to keep the oath of allegiance which you have declared, to uphold at all times," Brigadier-General Tikoitoga said.

After 12 weeks of intensive training, 259 recruits are now ready to join their elder brothers in the force.
