The new ATR 72-600 aircraft has landed

Update: 10:45AM Fiji's national airline welcomed the new ATR 72-600 aircraft at the Nausori International Airport this morning.

The aircraft, which arrived a few minutes ahead of schedule, was greeted by loud cheers.

The event will culminate in the official retire of the Pacific Sun brand and launch of Fiji Link.

Attorney-General and Minister for Civil Aviation, Tourism and Public Enterprises Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum was present at the inaugural event alongside Fiji Airways CEO Stefan Pichler and board chairman Nalin Patel.
