A DOMESTIC dispute has landed a 26-year-old Nadovi woman in hospital with serious injuries after she was stabbed several times by her partner around 9am yesterday.

Police spokesman Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the woman was in critical condition in the Lautoka Hospital.

"It was a domestic dispute which turned violent," he said.

"The partner ran away from authorities when a report was filed at the Nadi Police Station."

He said the man was on the run for most of the day before turning himself in.

"He called our police officers and admitted to committing the crime. He is currently in our custody and will be questioned."
