Update: 2:44PM Davuilevu Methodist Primary School outside Nausori Town celebrated its inaugural World Environment Day today.

The day was celebrated with fun- filled activities where students dressed up in traditional iTaukei costumes as well as garbage bags, old newspaper cuttings and empty plastics cuttings to depict the environment and how they, as children, can contribute to a cleaner environment.

Teacher Fane Saumaibulu said this was the first time for them to celebrate the important event with the theme Raise your voice, not waste level.
