$3k bail for man

THE man alleged to have caused the deaths of a mother and her three-year-old daughter at the Suva bus stand has been released on bail.

Rabindra Singh, 48, appeared before High Court judge Justice Paul Madigan where his lawyer Avinesh Reddy submitted a written bail application.

He is charged with two counts of manslaughter.

He provided two sureties in court and was granted a $3000 bail sum.

He was ordered to report to the Central Police Station every Monday.
