Be vigilant on the road, Police pleads

Update: 3:34PM POLICE are calling on pedestrians and motorists to respect each other on the road.

This after a Year 3 student of Vatuwaqa Primary School was hit by a car while crossing the road yesterday.

Police spokesman Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said they were now investigating the matter and are calling on members of the public to be careful and practice road safety rules at all times when on the roads.
