Warden prepares for Sudan

Update: 1:10PM FIJI Corrections Service warden Assistant Superintendent Tuapati Kaci will join soldiers from the Fiji Military Forces as well as the Fiji Police Force in South Sudan next week.

Mr Kaci who will leave our shores on Monday for Entebbe, Uganda will undergo training for a week before leaving for Sudan. 

Corrections Commissioner Lieutenant Colonel Ifereimi Vasu said the one year will not be an easy one,  as challenges and obstacles will be met along the way.

Mr Kaci will be the fourth corrections officer to be part of the United Nations mission in South Sudan.
